Abstract

The mixing tube of the injector is narrowed at its exit end in at least one direction while retaining the cross-sectional area equal to that of the remainder of the tube. Thereby the directional stability of the thread is improved, while the friction surface presented by the tube to the thread is only slightly increased, exclusively at the tube extremity. The narrowing may be done by flattening the mixing tube end.
