Abstract
A polyol resin is disclosed which is obtained by reacting 95 to 40% by weight of an aromatic vinyl monomer-allyl alcohol copolymer with 5 to 60% by weight of .epsilon.-caprolactone or .epsilon.-hydroxycaproic acid. The polyol resin can be reacted with a crosslinking agent to form a coating film.
