Abstract

A flame retardant polymer composition comprising 2,3-dimethyl-2,3-diphenylbutane, a halogenated bisimide corresponding to the formula: ##STR1## wherein Q is methylene or oxygen, X is chlorine or bromine, R is hydrogen or an alkyl group containing 1-5 carbon atoms, R' is hydrogen or methyl and R' is an organic group containing 1-15 carbon atoms, and a polypropylene polymer selected from the group consisting of polypropylene and copolymers containing at least 50% by weight of co-polymerized propylene monomer.
