Abstract
Methods of increasing hydrocarbon production from subterranean hydrocarbon-containing formations are provided wherein the formations are contacted with cationic perfluoro compounds represented by the following formula: ##STR1## Such perfluoro compounds are adsorbed onto surfaces of the formation and prevent or substantially reduce wetting of the surfaces.
