Abstract
A new process for the production of O,O-dialkylphosphorodithioates of the formula ##STR1## wherein R represents methyl or ethyl, and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are identical or different, and each represent an alkyl, alkenyl or alkoxyalkyl group having in each case at most 5 carbon atoms is disclosed. The process comprises reacting an essentially equimolar mixture of a piperidine of the formula ##STR2## and a free O,O-dialkyldithiophosphoric acid of the formula ##STR3## or a sodium, potassium or ammonium salt thereof, in the presence of an acid binding agent, with chloroacetylchloride.
