Abstract
A process is described for dyeing a disperse dyeable material such as a textile or film comprising the steps of forming an image comprising a dye component which is substantially sublimable at from about 160.degree. to 215.degree. C., on a film of a thermally stable resin which is permeable to said dye component covering the dye image with a paper web or a resinous material and bringing the film into contact with a disperse dyeable material to be dyed while the film and disperse dyeable material are rotated upon a heated drum, with the disperse dyeable material facing the surface of the film opposite the side supporting the image, to thereby transfer said dye component from the film to the textile material.
