Abstract
Disclosed herein are collagen fibers for use in medical treatments, having amino acid residues of 312 to 340 glycine residues, 119 to 138 proline residues, 94 to 100 hydroxyproline residues and 2.6 to 5.5 tyrosin residues per 1000 total amino acid residues thereof, a denaturation temperature in a range of 31.degree. to 40.degree. C., and S-constant of 1.12 to 1.62.
