Abstract
What is disclosed is a method for the transesterification of lower alkyl esters of .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated acids such as acrylic and methacrylic acid, with an epoxy alcohol, such as glycidol, which uses 1,4-diazabicyclo(2,2,2)octane as a transesterification catalyst.
