Disclosed herein is a bead-like substance comprising a hydroxymethylated copolymer of styrene and divinylbenzene having a serum protein adsorbed or adhering thereonto, suitable for filling the column used in liquid chromatography in the field of analysis, particularly in clinical examinations, and a method for analytically examining a physiological specimen by liquid column chromatography.
