Abstract
A sliding vane type rotary compressor having a rotor, at least one vane slidably mounted on the rotor, a cylinder accomodating the rotor and the vane, and end plates fixed to both ends of the cylinder so as to close vane chambers defined by the vane, the rotor and the cylinder at both sides of the vane chamber.
