Abstract
This invention relates to an agent for preventing the flooding of color pigments in aqueous plastic dispersion paints, plastic-based plasters, and distemper paints containing cellulose ethers, which is based on a block polymer in which a di- or polyamine is present as the initial molecule on which alkylene oxide units are added, said block polymer being obtained from one mole of a di- or polyamine of the general Formula I ##STR1## wherein R is an alkylene group with 2 to 6 carbon atoms, and x is a whole number from 1 to 4, by reaction with about 5 to 50 moles of ethylene oxide, followed by reaction with about 5 to 100 moles of propylene oxide.
