Abstract
A process and an apparatus for the recovery of solvents adsorbed from exhaust air containing solvent vapors by an adsorbent is disclosed. A stream of hot inert gas is made to pass preferably, in an alternating manner through two absorbent charges laden with solvent to achieve desorption. The solvent vapors picked up by the stream of inert gas are condensed and separated. The stream of inert gas, lean in solvent vapors, is used as a desorption medium.
