Abstract
In an electrically activatable recording element and process comprising a polymeric electrically active conductive layer improvements are provided wherein the polymeric electrically active conductive layer comprises a polymer that has recurring units represented by the structure: ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen or alkyl containing 1 to 20 carbon atoms;
