Abstract

The denture-base resin composition of the present invention contains a liquid component obtained by incorporation of 0.5 to 20% by weight of a particular silane compound and 0.5 to 10% by weight of a unsaturated carboxylic acid into a methyl methacrylate monomer. Examples of the silane compound used in the present invention includes .gamma.-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane, .gamma.-glycidoxypropyltriethoxysilane, .gamma.-methacryloxypropyltriethoxysilane, etc. The liquid component may be mixed with a methyl methacrylate polymer in a mixing ratio (by weight) of 1:3 to 3:1.
