Abstract
A process for producing .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated alkenyl ethers by cleavage of acetals in the gas phase and in the presence of a catalyst, the catalyst used being calcium oxide, the acetal cleavage being performed in the temperature range of 200.degree. to 300.degree. C. and the process being carried out preferably in a simple distilling apparatus.
