Abstract
An activating composition for bleaching textiles with peroxide products, taining an activator of the cyanamide type or derivative thereof, further contains a ternary protective mixture comprising a magnesium silicate precipitated in the finely divided powder state, a sequestering agent of the acetic type, preferably organoacetic, and a sequestering agent of the phosphonic type, preferably organophosphonic. The composition finds its application in activation of bleaching at moderate temperature with protection of textile fibers, of household washing powders at moderate temperature (30.degree. to 60.degree. C.) or any temperature (up to 90.degree. C.).
