Abstract
A silver halide color photographic sensitive material is disclosed. The material is comprised of at least one 4-(2-alkoxyarylthio)-5-pyrazolone magenta dye forming coupler and at least one compound represented by general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein each R represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic group having an oxygen atom or a nitrogen atom as a hetero atom, R.sub.4 CO--, R.sub.4 SO.sub.2 -- or R.sub.4 NHCO--, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkoxy group or an alkenoxy group and R.sub.3 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an aryl group, wherein R.sub.4 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group. The material can be used to form a color image with improved light and heat fastness.
