Abstract

1,3-Dicarbonyl compounds are provided having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are defined in the description as well as metal and organotin enolate salts thereof. The compounds are effective in enhancing the resistance to deterioration by heat and light of polyvinyl halide resins.
