Abstract

A 2-oxoimidazolidine derivative of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is lower alkyl or phenyl-lower alkyl and R.sup.2 is lower alkyl or phenyl, and a process for preparation thereof are disclosed. Said 2-oxoimidazolidine derivative (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is useful as a hypotensive agent.
