Abstract

The invention relates to a process for the preparation of foamed or unfoamed polyurethanes by the reaction of compounds with molecular weights of 400 to 10,000 having at least two isocyanate-reactive hydrogen atoms with polyisocyanates in the presence of catalysts containing tertiary amino groups and optionally in the presence of chain-lengthening agents of molecular weight 32 to 400, foam stabilizers, water and/or organic blowing agents and optionally other auxiliary agents and additives, characterized in that the catalysts are morpholine derivatives of the general formula ##STR1## wherein X is an integer from 3 to 6 and
