Abstract

Inosine and/or guanosine can be separated from fermentation broth containing microbial cells and high-molecular-weight substances by heat-treating said broth at 90.degree. to 110.degree. C., followed by subjecting to ultrafiltration. The present process is advantageously carried out in the industrial use of ultrafiltration.
