Abstract

Compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which R represents hydroxyl, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.10)alkoxy, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6)alkylthio, (C.sub.2 -C.sub.4)alkenyloxy, cyclohexyloxy, cyclopentyloxy, phenoxy or phenylthio both optionally substituted once or twice with halogen, benzyloxy, benzylthio or -O-cat in which 'cat' stands for the cation of an inorganic or organic base, have a very good effect on wild oat, barnyard grass, bristle grass and rayegrass in a much lower concentration than known analogous compounds.
