Abstract

A color photographic silver halide light-sensitive material is described comprising a compound represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.3 can each represent an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group or an unsubstituted or substituted aryl group, R.sup.2 can represent an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 can each represent a hydrogen atom, an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group, an unsubstituted or substituted aryloxy group, an unsubstituted or substituted alkylthio group, an unsubstituted or substituted arylthio group, a halogen atom, or an acylamino group, and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, R.sup.1 and R.sup.4, or R.sup.2 and R.sup.5 together can represent atoms forming a condensed ring structure together with the benzene ring of formula (I), provided that the total of carbon atom numbers in R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 is at least 16.
