Abstract
Plastic bonded self-explosive compositions having improved thermal stability consisting essentially of a self-explosive, e.g., hexanitro-stilbene, which exhibit an exotherm as measured by differential thermal analysis at a temperature no lower than 275.degree. C. and a binder which is a polymer of an alkyl methacrylate wherein the alkyl group has 10 to 20 carbon atoms e.g. lauryl methacrylate.
