Abstract

A series of novel derivatives of phenoxyalkanolamine of the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are the same or different and are hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 2 carbon atoms, methoxy, halogen, nitro, amino or acylamino residues, and the salts thereof, are described, as are methods for their synthesis. The compounds are highly active .beta..sub.1 -specific sympathicomimetics with a partially antagonistic component.
