Abstract

An improved method of depositing zirconium on a refractory oxide-mineral carrier. Said method comprises contacting the refractory-oxide mineral carrier with a solution of a least one complex zirconium ion, the latter being formed by means of at least one organic acid and/or a salt of an organic acid. Also carriers and catalysts prepared by said method.
