Abstract

The disclosure is directed to novel 1-[3-(2-hydroxy-3-alkylaminopropoxy)-2-thienyl]-3-phenyl-1-propanones and their salts. The compounds of the invention have the structural formula ##STR1## in which R and R.sub.1 are independently hydrogen or methyl and R.sub.2 is n-propyl, n-butyl, isobutyl or tert-butyl. The compounds have an outstanding antiarrhytmical activity already in low doses.
