Abstract

Disclosed are selected 2-trichloromethyl-4-pyrimidinyl carboxylic esters having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is a lower alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a lower alkenyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms a lower halo alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl group; R.sup.1 is hydrogen or halo; and R.sup.2 is a lower alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms. These compounds are disclosed to be agricultural fungicides.
