Abstract
11-Amino-11-deoxydaunorubicin and analogs represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein: R is hydrogen, hydroxy or methoxy; R.sub.1 is hydrogen or hydroxy; and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The compounds are useful in ameliorating tumor growth.
