Abstract

This invention relates to joining metallic parts by soldering and in particular to a soldering composition. A soldering composition in accordance with the present invention is solid at ambient temperatures and comprises a particulate soldering alloy or metal or oxide precursor thereof dispersed in a thermoplastic material. Conveniently, the soldering composition also includes one or more fluxes.
