Abstract

Organic electron donor compounds for use in electrophotographic constructions must ordinarily be sensitized to desired regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. Indolenine dyes having phenylsulfonyl or benzoyl substituents thereon have been found to be efficient sensitizers, particularly in the infrared portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, for such organic donor compounds.
