Abstract
An imidazopyridine-spiro-piperi dine compound of the formula: ##STR1## or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof, wherein X represents hydrogen, halogen or lower alkoxy, Y represents >N-- or >C.dbd.CH--, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 both represent hydrogen or combinedly form a single bond, Alk represents lower alkylene, and R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 both represent hydrogen or combinedly form a single bond. Such compounds are useful as psychotropics.
