Abstract
A process for the preparation of organophosphorus derivatives of organic hydroxyl or sulfhydryl compounds which includes the step of electrolyzing said organic hydroxyl or sulfhydryl compounds in an electrochemical cell having an anode comprising elemental phosphorus.
