Abstract

An inertia switch having an inertia mass, in the form of a ball resting in a conical seat, which mass is responsive to applied acceleration or deceleration in any direction in a horizontal plane and is arranged to operate changeover electrical contacts connected in an electrical circuit for unlocking the electrically operated door locks of an automobile.
