Abstract
A method for producing an alkenylsuccinic anhydride by reacting a mixture of an olefin polymer with maleic anhydride, the improvement which comprises reacting said reaction mixture at a temperature in the range of 100.degree. to 300.degree. C. while contacting said mixture with an oxygen-containing gas during said reaction.
