Abstract
What are disclosed are a new protein, PP.sub.11, obtainable from placental tissue, methods for isolating the protein in concentrated form, methods for making an antiserum to said protein, and methods for using said antiserum for monitoring pregnancy and for detecting and monitoring tumors and/or their therapy.
