Abstract
Incorporating abrasive materials into the resin impregnated print sheet and thereafter applying a coating of a fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol modified melamine-formaldehyde resin results in an effective abrasion-resistant decorative laminate which eliminates the necessity for an overlay sheet containing abrasive materials and cellulosic fibers.
