Abstract

A photoconductive material for electrophotography is composed of photoconductive cadmium sulfide particles provided with a hydroxide, oxide or sulfide of a metal element or semiconductive element on the particle surface. The photoconductive material dispersed in a binder resin can be used as a photoconductive layer for an electrophotographic photosensitive member.
