Abstract
A tobacco smoke filter plug comprises fiber tow fillings in the form of cylinder, composed of an inner core phase and an outer skin layer different from each other in fibrous arrangement structure thereof, the inner core phase consisting of fillings in a folded arrangement structure having a folding axis forming an angle of .alpha. with respect to the central longitudinal axis of the filter plug in cross section, and the outer skin layer consisting of fillings in a folded structure substantially parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the filter plug in cross section and surrounding said inner core phase.
