Abstract
Isovaleric acid derivatives having the formula ##STR1## wherein typical representations of X is halophenyl, R.sub.1 is hydrogen or cyano, R.sub.2 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, and Y is halophenyl. These derivatives possess insecticidal and acaricidal properties. The process for their preparation is described.
