Abstract
A composite shaped article comprising at least one reinforcing core of a heat-resistant oxide-dispersion-hardened metal or alloy and a cladding of a heat-resistant metal or alloy which is compatible with the core material, the core being wholly encapsulated within and bonded to the cladding material. A method for making the articles is provided.
