Abstract

Zr-Fe alloys (15%-30% by wt Fe, balance Zr) start to sorb hydrogen at temperatures between 200.degree. and 250.degree. C. They are particularly useful for the sorption of hydrogen within the outer jacket of high intensity discharge lamps.
