Abstract
A road marking composition comprising a resin having a melt viscosity of from about 30 to 80 cps at 150.degree. C. and a modifier composed of at least one metal oxide of at least one metal selected from Groups II and IV of short form of the Periodic Table. The resin may be rosin-modified maleic resin, hydrogenated resin, rosin ester, polyamide, and petroleum resin. Optionally, a polar wax and/or a surfactant may be present. Fillers and extenders include: pigments, glass beads, clay, plaster, slaked lime, alumina diatomaceous earth, sand, and plasticizers.
