Abstract

The invention relates to a detachable grip of a mono-cable transport installation. The grip has a pair of jaws which is both pivotally mounted on a spindle and urged into a clamping position by means of a compression spring which acts on a piston connected by link-rods to the operating shanks of the jaws. In the clamping position the gauge of the grip is not increased.
