Abstract

Novel .alpha.-haloalkylcarbamic acid halides, and a process for the preparation of .alpha.-haloalkylcarbamic acid halides by reacting alkenyl isocyanates with hydrogen halide. The .alpha.-haloalkylcarbamic acid halides obtained by the process of the invention are valuable starting materials for the preparation of surface-coating raw materials, textile coating agents, dyes, drugs and crop protection agents.
