Abstract

A fully assembled carton has a novel end panel construction. End flaps extend from at least one of the bottom, front and rear wall panels. Closure flaps on opposed edges of the top closure panel extend downwardly over portions of the end flaps and terminate at free edges. Closure flap extensions abut the free edges of the closure flap, extend downwardly therefrom over additional portions of the end flaps, and are affixed to adjacent portions of the end flaps.
