Abstract
The invention relates to the purification of wet phosphoric acid in which raw, wet acid extracted by means of a solvent, desulfated by means of a calcium ion aqueous solution and regenerated by means of water, is then treated with water vapor or hot gases by which a concentrated solution of phosphoric acid with a ponderal ratio F/P.sub.2 O.sub.5 less than 10 ppm is obtained.
