Abstract

A catalyst mixture containing at least two independently supported catalysts, at least one of which is an inorganic halide supported titanium and/or vanadium Ziegler type catalyst and at least one other is an inorganic oxide supported, chromium catalyst. These catalyst mixtures are suitable for polymerizing one or more .alpha.-olefins.
