Abstract
A group of heat curable resins are provided which have good physical properties, which properties are retained to a surprising degree after prolonged exposure to temperatures as high as 300.degree. C. The products are acetylene end-capped polyesters prepared by reacting a hydroxyphenylacetylene with a diacid chloride of an aromatic dibasic acid such as 4,4'-benzophenone dicarboxylic acid dichloride.
