Abstract
Production of antibiotic WS-3442 A, B, C, D and E, and their acyl derivatives thereof, the production of antibiotic WS-3442 A, B, C, D and E being a new method by culturing a new species of Streptomyces and their acyl derivatives of said antibiotics being prepared by acylating said antibiotics with an acylating agent. The acyl derivative of antibiotic WS-3442 A, B, C, D and E has antimicrobiological activity and is also useful for intermediate for preparing Cephalosporin derivatives having antimicrobiological activity.
